Medical Practioner’s Natural Path
Marcy McFee has for many years pursued the knowledge of natural
healing arts. Her goals have always been to use herbal and dietary
methods to promote health and well-being for her patients. Her
practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine – including acupuncture,
Chinese herbal medicines, and dietary counseling – is
a powerful blend of the best aspects of this ancient healing
system. The positive results she and her patients, as partners
in the healing process, have achieved has repeatedly validated
Marcy’s faith in natural medicine.
Marcy McFee
was educated at California Polytechnic University in San Luis
Obispo, California, and at the University of California at Irvine.
Her studies continued at the Santa Barbara College of Oriental
Medicine in Santa Barbara, California, with courses in acupuncture,
Chinese herbology, and other oriental medical modalities. In
addition, her training encompassed western biomedical sciences,
including anatomy, physiology, neuroanatomy, and clinical medicine.
She
has earned a Master's Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental
Medicine. and is a Medical Board of California Licensed Acupuncturist.
In addition to the rigorous testing of the Medical Board
of California, Department of Consumer Affairs, and the California
Acupuncture Committee, Marcy has taken the National Certification
Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine examinations
in acupuncture and Chinese herbology, and has received Diplomate
status and Certification from this prestigious board of review.
Through her many years of schooling and independent study,
Marcy has developed an integrated and highly effective approach
to health and natural healing.
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) views us
as having an energetic system with body, mind, and spirit seen
as integrated components, each affecting the other. TCM utilizes
a sensitive and comprehensive system of diagnosis which is effective
in the detection of minor disorders as well as serious illness.
